merle | portraits

Classical portraits shot in the Jean Noir studios with Merle. This set is more of my natural style and we did it at the end of the day to relax. I have to say that it was really cool and easy going to work with Merle.

Does this portrait really need to be sharp? From my point of view I prefer to work manually – as I do here – and capture some moods rather than concentrating on the autofocus.

But most of the time I work like everybody with my autofocus going for the front eye.

Here some more classical style portraits.

I love these moments when the model is not posing anymore – or at least so professional that it does not look like posed. It is all about slowing down.

Here one final detail her eyes but this time heavily processed in Photoshop and Lightroom.
